Now that the holidays are over I like to continue the holiday spirit throughout the rest of the year. The one thing I don't want to continue is all of the unhealthy eating I did during the holidays. My family made lots of tamales, Mexican style pork beans, desserts, and other treats. We even continued having weekends together until this past Sunday (we had Mexican style hotdogs). Today I started my day off with a nutribar and later on I had steamed spinach with a deepfried egg on top. I fried the egg in olive oil, that way the egg is a little healthier. I don't believe in dietting I think that eating is common sence (common nature). Everybody knows that if you eat deepfried chicken you are not eating something healthy. When it comes to working out I try to clean the house, yoga, exercise while watching tv, walking, and sometimes I get to go to zumba class. I try to do different things that way things stay interesting for me.
I had a wonderful time on Christmas Eve and Christmas day. New Years Eve and day was calm and I was blessed to spend that time with my family and my boyfriend. I hope everybody was able to spend time with their families and everybody special in your life.
I have bought a lot of thrifty items since my last post. I can't wait to show them off.
